GEORGIA TECH

Road Piece

Tools: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator; Offset Printing

Objective: The project embarked on a mission to infuse new vitality into the design elements initially introduced in the Search Piece. This phase witnessed the introduction of vibrant Buzz Gold (PMS 124) floods, the transformation of hexagons into chevrons, and the subtle incorporation of scan lines and honeycomb patterns. These enhancements significantly boosted the visual appeal and resonance of the branding. This refreshed design was met with acclaim, securing a UCDA Award of Excellence in the Recruitment/Viewbooks category.

Acceptance Packet (2015)

Tools: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator; Offset Printing

Objective: This project aimed to create a welcoming and informative acceptance packet, marking the initial point of contact for newly accepted students. The packet, containing crucial elements such as the acceptance letter, upcoming deadlines, and a call-to-action to settle their deposits, served as a comprehensive guide to kickstart their journey at the institute. Importantly, it also heralded the introduction of a secondary color palette, a significant step in the continuous evolution of the "Creating the Next" branding. This addition added a fresh layer of visual identity to the brand's narrative.

GEORGIA TECH ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION

I was tasked with bringing Georgia Tech Athletic Association's Strategic Plan into brand while keeping the energy of athletics. This piece used large areas of white,  photo treatments for silhouetted actions shots, and Old Gold applied to chevrons and vector patterns. This design was so successful,  GTAA chose to use it as their 2016 branding and has been applied to billboards, tickets, tv commercials, and a huge assortment of other projects.
